Songwriting to Heal

Through Beyond Bars Collective, David and his wife Anna Grace lead songwriting workshops inside prisons. Eleven programs and 150+ graduate songwriters later, the proof is in the songs. Music written by Beyond Bars writers arrives in early 2027.

David Borné is a singer and songwriter that has shared stages with Emmylou Harris, Sierra Ferrell and Ruston Kelly, earned more than 3 million streams and a #1 song in Texas, and his 2023 album GENESIS (produced by Jarrad K, engineered by GRAMMY winner Gena Johnson) was called "a masterpiece" by Revival Roadshow.

Offstage he teaches songwriting inside prisons with Beyond Bars Collective and to veterans with Creativets. Onstage, solo or with his wife Anna Grace, he brings those stories home.
